What LinkBox does do
- Stores your data locally on your own device
- Encrypts sensitive fields at rest
- Uses the operating system keychain for key storage
- Lets you import and export your data on your own terms
Optional network behavior
LinkBox may optionally fetch website favicons to display beside saved links. This is the only routine network behavior tied to product presentation, and it can be disabled.
Your ownership
You own the data inside LinkBox. You can back it up, move it, export it, or delete it without asking permission from a service or account layer.
